A little tid-bit from the Cleaning Corner to help you with cleaning around the house:
- *The best way to dust blinds: Close them, then wipe up and down with an old dryer sheet. It’ll create anti-static barrier that helps prevent dust from building up again.
- *To clean glass and mirrors, use coffee filters, not paper towels. They leave no streaks or lint — and they’re cheap.
- *Vinegar and water are a great deodorizer for a musty bathroom. Spray your shower down as you’re getting out. It really absorbs the odors, and the smell of vinegar goes away in an hour.
- *To clean your microwave oven, microwave a cup of water with some baking soda in it until it’s boiling. That eliminates odors and makes it super easy to wipe away all that stuck-on stuff.

For years I watched my father use glass cleaner on the carpet to loosen up stains or take them out almost entirely. It made no sense to me as a child but now that I’m older and now that i have used it myself i can say that it works great on a decent range of stains.
I do believe its called Sprayway class cleaner, it has a pink bow on the can, and woman in a maids outfit of some sort. Works great for me, hope you find it useful
